Review: The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies) is the fifth studio album by American group The Black Eyed Peas. Critics described the album as containing more anthemic and inspirational songs in the group's bid to appeal to a new generation of music listeners. The album gave the group their first, second, and third US number one hits with Boom Boom Pow ( 12 weeks) I Gotta Feeling ( 14 weeks) and Imma Be ( 2 weeks) which topped the Billboard Hot 100. The third single, "Meet Me Halfway", along with the first two, topped several charts around the world including the United Kingdom and Australia.
Other Achievements:
* Black Eyed Peas was on top of the chart for 26 weeks, more consecutive weeks than any other artist.
* The E.N.D. World Tour, tops the Hot Tours; a total of $8.8 million was the combined gross for these venues which brings the overall tour tally to $23 million since it kicked off last fall (March 2009)
* Around 21,000 dancers in the streets performed a flash mob of "I Gotta Feeling" at Oprah Winfrey's 24th Season Kickoff Party.
* The Peas Concert in Dublin was sold out in 20 minutes. Also, they sold out four Arenas in London.
* BEP broke up a record of "Highest live performance and highest recorded track, on a plane".
* "I Gotta Feeling" is now the best-selling digital song of all time ( sold over 5,561,000 digital downloads)
* Black Eyed Peas won two AMA (Favorite Rock/Pop Group & Favorite R&B/Soul Group)
