[News] Apl.de.ap at 2012 Dell Social Innovation Awards

JUNE 12TH: As we posted days ago, Apl.de.ap was chosen to presented the award of Hope Video at the 2012 Dell Social Innovation Awards in Austin, Texas. Also, today the HOPE EP was launched, it includes a compilation of 5 international musicians, such as: Apldeap, Aloe Blacc, Kenna, Bob Schneider and Slightly Stoopid.

All proceeds from the EP go to the HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere)Campaign and Apl.de.ap Foundation.

JUNE 11TH: Apldeap explained to Ewa Magazine his new solo projects for 2012, which
may include a solo album, a cartoon and his own game application. He also talked about "We Can be Anything" campaign and how he reached his dreams.

JUNE 9TH: The Filipino President Benigno S. Aquino III met with Allan Pineda a.k.a. Apl.de.Ap. in his short visit to Los Angeles, California.

The President thanked Apl for his advocacy campaign to send underprivileged Filipinos to school. Mr. Pineda encourages his fellow Filipino-Americans all throughout the world to
help the Filipino youth obtain education through producing a music album.

Manny Pacquiao had a famous visitor who joined him in his last morning run in
Los Angeles yesterday morning. Grammy award winning musician and one of Philippines’ most adored sons, Apl de Ap accompanied the champ in his final
morning jog and round of exercises at Griffith Park.
